I was looking for the safest cruise, and, having never been on cruises before, wanted to start with a short one.
Thus Disney, thus 3 days. Embarkation was I don't understand why people are so afraid of cruises. Cruise ships are probably the safest places in the world.
I wish all services ashore were so professional in terms of Covid prevention. Before boarding the We chose this cruise as we were going to Australia and wanted to visit New Zealand whilst we were in that part of the world.
So we went to Brisbane to board the ship and first of all it was a fiasco at the port, We went for our 25th anniversary and had the absolutely most spectacular time of our lives.
The food was phenomenal. One day the chef made pork adobo especially for us. He was from the Philippines and found out my I took this cruise because it was a rock n roll cruise.
The problem was the Moody Cruise staff. They were rude and abrasive to the passengers. The head of security was seen grabbing a woman by the arm and pulling We been cruising for over 10yrs and seeing Norwegian getting Could have been Excellent Seven Seas Voyager Cruise Review by EYeo.
Overall Ship design The ship in general is well-designed, though dated in parts. Dining Getting seated in Compass Rose was always efficient and prompt.
Shore Excursions The included tours were not great, but I attributed it more to the ports of call rather than to Regent itself.
Misc Facilities The free laundry located on every floor was helpful, and it never seemed too crowded. Card key Oh, good grief…. Conclusion We had a great time on the cruise, all things considered.

Over priced cruise line and total disappointment. Agree with De above. This is an extremely overpriced cruise line.
Very disappointed with the experience. It claims to be the most luxurious ship ever built, but the service, food, and amenities were all subpar — at most, it rivals a four-star cruise, but this has a 6-star price tag!
When I called the front desk to ask what happened, they decided to send someone to put up balloons and a paper sign while my husband was in the room, sitting right in front of them…making it totally meaningless!
Following the failed celebration of his birthday, we came across a series of other crazy encounters, making the entire trip an extremely unenjoyable holiday: 1.
Live spider and live bug found in a bowl of berries for room service dining 2. Our friend shipped over a bottle of champagne along with a birthday card to surprise my husband.
The crew lost the card and only plotted the bottle of champagne in the middle of our room without saying anything…. In terms of the food quality and amenities, these are also below standards.
The steak at their specialty restaurant was very tough — meat quality was bad to begin with. In terms of amenities, the design of it all was missing the perspective of the customer experience.
For example, there was no assigned area where guests can blow dry their hair, powder up, and get ready after using the Spa.
You actually have to stand up while blow drying your hair — there are no chairs in the whole spa area. How is that supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience?

Unfortunately we felt so cheated by the poor tours that Regent had arranged. The tour guides were either disorganized or unable to communicate and we just left feeling shortchanged.
We've been on other cruises where the cruise ship company had arranged really enriching and wonderful excursions. Sadly this is the only area Regent fell short.
But the experience on board did exceed all of our expectations. Regent said no not right. Covered most of it above except the tender service which was poor.
It seemed like people in charge were not well trained in when to have tenders come and go which resulted in big groups waiting in the hot sun for tenders to arrive as well as sitting on board for long period up to 30 minutes when the tender only had a few empty seats.
This is the one area that needs vast improvement and more oversight from senior staff. Food rates right up there with standard franchise dining out locations' Not good for people with walking problems,.
Memorable Mediterranean Cruise by IdahoBucketList. The cruise was wonderful with many memorable moments. I would recommend this cruise to anyone with a love for history and a desire to see the holy land.
This should be on your bucket list. Ship full of obnoxious, entitled Conservatives by SheliaSaunders. The captain crashed the ship into a dock. Weather prevented us from vistIng Sorento.
Miserable conservative clientele who cast an air of pointless formality. Silly dress code. For United States passengers, flights to the embarkation city and home from the disembarkation city are included in the cruise fare.
Flight segments within the U. If you want to designate your airline or routing, there's an additional fee. Beverages are also included, aside from a few ultra-premium liquors and high-end wines.
A perfectly tasty Champagne flows freely, and your favorite call liquor brand likely is included, too. But if you opt for Veuve Clicquot, you'll pay extra.
Each restaurant pours a selected red and a white wine nightly, but if those wines aren't to your taste, you can request alternatives.
Passengers in Concierge-level suites or above receive an included hotel night and transfers prior to the cruise. Most shore excursions 90 percent, according to Regent are included in your fare as well.
These aren't simply bare-bones tours; some include experiences like biking, wine tastings and visits to museums. A handful of paid excursions offer higher-end experiences, including special instruction, gourmet meals or premium wine-tasting.
In locations where the port is away from the city center, free shuttles are usually provided. All Regent employee gratuities are included in the cruise fares.
If you feel strongly about expressing gratitude to the crew, Regent encourages donations to the Crew Welfare Fund at the Purser's Office; this money funds crew parties and events.
An 18 percent service charge is already included in spa prices, and the spa policy states, "Any additional gratuities for exceptional service are appreciated, but not expected.
The currency used onboard is the U. We understand these are difficult times but, after contacting RSSC many times and spending countless hours speaking to representatives, after 10 months nothing has been resolved.
It is unfortunate this company is showing their true colors during a time of a heath crisis. Read more. Helpful Share. Marilyn wrote a review Mar Ower, United Kingdom 1 contribution.
We had planned a trip to Australia to visit friends and decide to include a cruise from Singapore to Sydney. This was our first cruising experience and I hasten to say our last!
We decided on Regent after reading the brochures which stated we would experience six star ultimate luxury were understandably high.
Our first impression of our aft suite was disappointing. The cabin decor and fixtures and fittings were well worn, particularly the bathroom. I must add that our butler was excellent - she made every effort to ensure we were completely satisfied and nothing was too much trouble.
The food on board ranged from excellent to terrible. Many of the staff were obliging but clearly poorly trained. The two speciality restaurants were very good but making a reservation proved difficult as they were invariably fully booked.
The excursions were reasonably well organised but many of them fully booked even though we attempted to book at the earliest opportunity.
We found the evening shows very much like the restaurant service - a couple of the entertainers were embarrassingly awful!
I'm sorry Regent - our experience of the Seven Seas Voyager fell way short of your promise of "Six Star Ultimate Luxury" and not deserving of anything like six stars.
